What types of physicians does ServiceDocs provide?
We place hospitalists, nocturnists, internal medicine subspecialists, and psychiatrists for inpatient coverage, and we provide physician coverage and medical leadership for Hospital at Home programs.
Which areas do you serve?
We work with hospitals and health systems in the New York metro area. Every physician in our network holds a New York license, and we work with facilities statewide.
Do you only fill short-term locum shifts?
No. Many partners start with a few locum shifts a month. From there we can take on dedicated hospitalist coverage, nocturnist and surge support, and physician services for a Hospital at Home program, all under one agreement.
How fast can a physician start?
It depends on your facility's privileging timeline. Your hospital credentials and privileges every physician, so your medical staff office sets the pace. We start licensure verification on the first call and hand over a complete file, so nothing on our side slows it down.
Who manages our account?
One ServiceDocs account lead owns your partnership from the first call onward. Recruiting, credentialing, scheduling, and reporting all run through that person.

Yes. ServiceDocs was founded in 2019 by Dr. Kayode Odutayo, a board-certified internal medicine physician who worked as a hospitalist in New York health systems in both permanent and locum roles.
